👨🏻‍💼 Position: Temporary Fixed Term Contract Technician: Water Demand Management

Location: Windhoek, Khomas, Namibia

Salary: N$260,256 p.a

🎓 Responsibilities:

Supervise the Water Demand Management personnel in the Water Resources Management Section.
Collect, analyze and monitor bulk, zonal and customer water consumption data in the city.
Assess water loss and regulatory compliance in the water distribution system.
Plan and implement demand management projects.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and engage customers to ensure water management resolution compliance.
Ensure compliance and continuous strategy improvement.
Assess and allocate quotas to semi purified water and breakwater customers.

🎓 Job Requirements:

Qualification requirement: National Diploma in Civil Engineering/Water Management/Integrated Water Resources Management/Environmental Science specialised in Water Resources Management with three (3) year job related experience and a code B/BE driver’s license. Registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia if holding Engineering qualification. Peace Officer certificate (To be obtained within 12 months after appointment; training provided by the City of Windhoek only)
