🎓 Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Monitor progress, quality, and cost control to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Implement and enforce site safety protocols in line with statutory and project requirements.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, ensuring accurate execution of works.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify risks, and resolve issues promptly.
- Report progress, challenges, and milestones to project management and clients.
- Lead site meetings and maintain clear communication between all stakeholders.
🎓 Job Requirements:
- Recognised degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience in site management on mining, construction, or heavy engineering projects.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage large teams.
- Solid knowledge of project management, scheduling, and site operations.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia (ECN) would be an added advantage.
- Safety certification (e.g., SAMTRAC, NOSA, or NEBOSH).
- Previous experience on Namibian or Southern African mining projects.
- Ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining strong client and team relationships.
