
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
RECRUITMENT INTO THE NAMIBIAN DEFENCE FORCE
The Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs (MODVA) is requesting the following listed potential candidates to report themselves at NDF Training Establishment (NDF TE), Military Base Osona, Okahandja as from 12-14 May 2025 to possibly undergo military training only after candidates passed the medical examination review at NDF TE.
Take Note: All Shortlisted candidates are requested to bring along latest certified copies and original documents of their education qualifications, National Identify Cards, Birth Certificates, Tax Certificates, Bank Confirmation Letters. All candidates should also bring along latest certified copies of identity cards of their beneficiaries.
Governors and Constituency Councillors are kindly requested to disseminate the information to candidates within their respective regions and constituencies as soon as possible. All candidates are advised to bring along their sport attires and running shoes. Only shortlisted candidates should report at the NDF Training Establishment as from 08h00- 17h00 daily. No candidates will be attended to as from 15 May 2025.

Namibian Air Force Recruitment 2025: NDF Application Form
The application process for the Namibian Air Force is comparable to that of the Namibian Defense Force, with a few qualifications unique to the Air Force. The general steps to follow are as follows:

- Fill out the application.
Complete the application form completely, including your personal information.
Include all necessary paperwork, including official ID copies, diplomas from school, and a certificate of medical fitness.
- Send in the application:
Apply in person at the designated Air Force recruitment office, or as directed by the recruitment advertisement, with the completed application form and the necessary paperwork.
- Get Ready for the Selection Procedure:
A written exam, a physical fitness test, a medical examination, and an interview are typically part of the selection process. Make sure you’re ready for these phases.
- Written Assessment:
Those who make the short list will be asked to sit for a written exam that assesses general knowledge, basic literacy, numeracy, and occasionally aviation-related technical expertise.
- Exam for Physical Fitness:
After passing the written exam, candidates must pass a physical fitness test. Running, push-ups, sit-ups, and other exercises to measure physical stamina and strength are commonly included in this.
- Medical Assessment:
After passing the physical fitness test, candidates will go through a comprehensive medical examination to make sure they are in good health and fit enough to serve in the Air Force.
- Interview:
Interviews will be held with candidates who pass the medical exam to gauge their motivation, fitness for military and aviation service, and comprehension of Air Force responsibilities.
- Tests of psychological aptitude and
To determine if an applicant is qualified for a particular position in the Air Force, more psychological and aptitude testing may be administered.
- Background Investigation:
To make sure candidates are eligible for service and do not have any criminal histories or other difficulties, a background check is done.
- Final Decision:
A list of candidates who make it through every round is created for the final selection. Notification and instructions on the following steps are sent to the chosen individuals.
