👨🏻💼 VACANCY: Processing Control Room Operator
- Location: Rosh Pinah, Karas, Namibia

🎓 Responsibilities:
- Sound knowledge of crushers, stockpiles, milling, flotation, dewatering/filtration, drying floors, weighbridge, tailings, paste filling, water treatment plant and lab.
- Sound knowledge of the operation of SCADA.
- Sound knowledge of starting and stopping processing plant equipment.
- Sound knowledge to carry out basic troubleshooting.
- Fault Finding Procedures (Ability to isolate or identify the most probable causes of a breakdown or other potential problems relevant to the area or equipment.)
- Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
- Sound decision-making skills.
- Good radio Communication skills
- Good Communication skills to communicate about all relevant issues freely and transparently.
🎓 Job Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience working in a processing plant environment will be advantageous.
- Proficient in verbal and written English.
- Physically fit for duty to perform manual tasks. Observation, problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- 4 years’ experience in a beneficiation plant
