👨🏻💼 Position: Compliance Officer (Unit Trust)
- Location: Windhoek, Khomas, Namibia
- Salary: As Per Market Related

🎓 Responsibilities:
- Interpret legislation, regulations, guidance notes and directives etc. to identify and assess compliance risks
- Draft documents, processes, policies and procedures to address compliance risks
- Implement processes, policies, procedures and controls to effectively manage compliance risks
- Ensure that compliance processes, policies and procedures and controls are maintained
- Consult with and provide recommendations with the business unit, to sufficiently address compliance deficiencies
- Monitor and report on compliance risks
- Attend to certain compliance reporting
- Engagement with auditors and attend to compliance related aspects in audit reports
- Engagement with regulators (attend at inspections and attend to enquiries/questionnaires/reports)
- Ensure that the business unit staff complete the compliance related training and assessment
🎓 Job Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Bachelor Degree in Law
- Admitted Attorney (would be an advantage)
- Experience in compliance risk management environment (would be an advantage)
- Diploma / Certificate in Compliance Management (would be an advantage)
- Knowledge and insight of legislation and compliance risk management (would be an advantage)
