👨🏻‍💼 Position: Billing Administrator

Location: Walvis Bay, Erongo Region, Namibia
Salary: As Per Market Related

🎓 Responsibilities:

Verify patient benefits and eligibility prior to treatment
Review and coordinate treatment sheets for correct billing codes (ICD10 and Namaf tariff codes).
Execute end-to-end billing processes, prepare invoices, and submit medical aid claims.
Allocate payment receipts to correct invoices.
Reconcile outstanding balances and assist with monitoring aged receivables.
Produce day-end and month-end billing reports.
Correspond with medical aids regarding claims, reviews, and appeals within filing deadlines.
Handle billing inquiries from patients or medical aids.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient billing records and financial data.
Ensure compliance documentation is updated and submitted on time.

🎓 Job Requirements:

At least 1-2 years’ experience in the billing department of a clinic, hospital, or medical practice.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in business, healthcare administration, accounting, or related field preferred.
Computer and digital literacy with strong skills in MS Excel, with ability to use functions, filtering, and sorting).
Basic accounting knowledge, including understanding aged receivables.
Experience with billing software and electronic medical records (GoodX knowledge will be an advantage).
Knowledge of Narmaf Tariff Codes and ICD10 codes preferred.
Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work with attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication and fluency in English required.
Outstanding problem solving and organisational abilities required
