👨🏻💼 Position: Senior Geologist: Resources

🎓 Responsibilities:
- Provide input into the development of exploration plans for each prospect area.
- Carry out the exploration plan and ensure reporting as required.
- Maintain and review the geological data on an ongoing basis to ensure that information is up to date.
- Support the implementation of specific strategies within the individual projects to minimise the exposure of safety related risk to employees from radiation, disease or injury.
- Oversees contractors and consultants to ensure work is completed safely and to the required standards
- Implement the Environmental and Radiation management plan.
- Execute the exploration plan for investigations to achieve project deliveries.
- Provide progress reports on each target to satisfy feasibility report deliverables.
- Work with external and internal specialists to identify, source and justify the implementation of new technologies.
🎓 Job Requirements:
- BSc. Honours Degree in Geology or similar qualification in Geology.
- 5 years’ experience in Exploration Geology of which 2 years should be at supervisory level.
- Knowledge various 3D geological modeling software such as Datamine, Vulcan, Gemcom etc. as well as GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGIS.
- Registration with SACNASP or similar professional body will be an added advantage.
- Valid Code B/BE Driver’s License (4×4 driving know how an added advantage)
