👨🏻💼 Position: Superintendent : Traffic Law Enforcement
- Location: Swakopmund, Erongo, Namibia
- Salary: Minimum: N$ 419,396.00

🎓 Responsibilities:
To assist, manage, plan, organise, direct and co-ordinate all functions, duties, and operation of the Traffic Section and to ensure the safety and security of all residents and visitors within the boundaries of Swakopmund.
Key performance areas: The successful candidate will be responsible to execute the following duties:
1. Support the Divisional Head to manage the Division and the job activities of subordinates.
2. Ensure that initial and follow-up investigations of Traffic offenses and events are conducted.
3. Develop and ensure the correction functioning of improved systems of operations.
4. Municipal Support Services
5. Supervision of Employees/Traffic Officers
6. Administration
7. Management of Sectional assets i.e., fleet, tools, equipment
8. Occupational Health and Safety Management (OHSM).
🎓 Job Requirements:
Tertiary Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree at NQF Level 7 or high in Road Traffic Management and/or Metropolitan and Traffic Policing or equivalent, as well as a National Basic Traffic Diploma.
Experience required: Five (5) years of appropriate working experience in Traffic Law Enforcement fraternity of which, three (3)
years should be served at supervisory level. Legal/Professional Requirements/Licenses: (i.e., Driver’s licence, registered with Engineering Council, Registered with Health professionals Council, etc.)
- A valid Code A and CE driver’s license with valid Professional Authorisation.
- No Criminal records.
- Registered as per Section12 of RTTA, Act 22/1999. Examiner of Licences, Traffic Officer, Examiner of Vehicles, Inspector of Driver Licenses and Road Transport Inspector
