Job Profile: Social and Environmental Safeguards Expert (1 position)

Duty Station: Windhoek, Namibia, with frequent travel to project sites

🎓Required Qualification & experience:

• An advanced university degree (Master’s degree, NQF Level 9 or higher) in environmental science, social sciences, aquaculture, agriculture, fisheries management or a closely related field.
  
• A minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated successful experience in environmental and social safeguards, impact assessment or ESMP
  implementation for development projects; gender mainstreaming or community engagement on development projects;

Job Profile: Gender and Stakeholder Engagement Expert

Duty Station: Windhoek, with travel to project sites

🎓Required Qualification & experience:

• A university degree (NQF Level 7 or equivalent) in gender studies, development studies, social sciences, communication, agriculture,
  environmental management or a related discipline, with demonstrated training or specialization in gender equality, stakeholder engagement or strategic communication.
  
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in gender mainstreaming, stakeholder engagement, communication or community development;
  experience implementing Gender Action Plans and Stakeholder Engagement Plans on donor-funded projects will be a distinct advantage;

Job Profile: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Expert (Individual Consultant)

Duty Station: Windhoek, with travel to project sites

🎓Required Qualification & experience:

• A university degree (NQF Level 7 or equivalent) in monitoring and evaluation, project management, data science, fisheries, aquaculture, environmental management or a related discipline.
  
• At least five years of progressively responsible professional experience in monitoring, evaluation, results reporting or performance management for development programmes or projects.

Job Profile: Procurement Officer (1 position)

Duty Station: Windhoek, with travel to project sites

🎓Required Qualification & experience:

• Honours Degree (NQF level 8 or equivalent) in procurement, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field with a specialisation or advanced certificate in procurement and/or logistics.
  
• Sound knowledge of the Public Procurement Act, 2015 and its Regulations; experience with UN or donor-funded procurement procedures will be an advantage;
  
• A recognized procurement certification will be a distinct advantage;
  

Job Profile: Regional Technical Officers (3 positions)

Duty Station: Position 1: //Karas, Hardap and Omaheke regions (Neckartal Dam and Aminius Spring sites)
Position 2: Omusati region (Calueque-Oshakati Canal)
Position 3: Kavango East and Kavango West regions (Kavango River)
Duty station within the respective regions to be specified during your your submission.

🎓Required Qualification & experience:

• A minimum degree (NQF Level 7 or equivalent) in a discipline relevant to aquaculture, agriculture, fisheries, environmental management, or agricultural economics.
  
• A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in project management and practical experience in small-scale fisheries, aquaculture,
  horticulture production and extension, with a track record of delivering results on time and within budget, preferably in Namibia or southern Africa;
