👨🏻💼 Position: Projects Electrical Supervisor
- Location: Uis, Erongo, Namibia
- Job Type:– Full time
- Salary: As Per Market Related

🎓 Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Installations, repairs and maintenance of the electrical distribution and communications networks.
- Oversee commissioning of electrical / Instrumentation equipment associated with electric motor drives and plant control panels.
- Read and interpret electrical / instrumentation diagrams and plans.
- Lead the troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of the electrical/instrumentation systems and mining equipment during construction and commissioning.
- Install and maintain domestic-related electrical installations.
- Generate written reports detailing work performed and problems found.
- Lead and conduct risk assessments when performing routine tasks.
- General housekeeping – clean equipment with specialized machinery, relevant signages, and spillage material.
- Control monthly electrical instrumentation cost according to budgets.
- Perform electrical isolations and ensure compliance to the UTMC permit to work system
- Ensure Daily site diaries are submitted and conform to requirements
- Daily supervision of the Artisans / Contractors.
🎓 Job Requirements:
- Formal Education Recognized Trade diploma in electrical field – N3 and higher Certification
- Minimum 5 years post-trade experience, 3 years must be in a supervisory capacity.
- Previous experience in mining / heavy industry will be advantageous.
- Good background on Industrial Instrumentation
- MS Office
- MS Project
- Valid Driver’s license
- Electrical installations and construction
- Field Instrumentation installation
- Computer literacy.
- Excellent interpersonal relations skills.
