👨🏻‍💼 Position: Facilities Manager

  • Location: Windhoek, Khomas, Namibia
  • Job Grade:– C5
  • Salary: As Per Market Related

🎓 Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve facilities and equipment issues across multiple property locations efficiently.
  • Coordinate and manage planned preventative maintenance schedules, inspections, and servicing programs for all building systems and equipment.
  • Develop and oversee the facilities budget, including accurate forecasting, monitoring, and cost control measures.
  • Implement and optimize energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost-saving initiatives across the portfolio.
  • Conduct regular site visits and audits to inspect the quality of work performed by service providers across various disciplines.
  • Manage and evaluate external contractors and vendors to ensure service quality, compliance, and value for investment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including tenants, suppliers, and contractors, while managing service level agreements and negotiating contracts.
  • Ensure rapid response to facility-related emergencies, minimizing disruption to tenants and internal operations.
  • Prepare and submit internal reports, including weekly activity updates, monthly management reports, and quarterly financial forecasts.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop a team of facilities personnel to ensure high performance and service standards.
  • Conduct and coordinate compliance audits to ensure all properties meet health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

🎓 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field
  • 5 years or more proven experience in facilities and maintenance management
  • Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and compliance regulations
  • Computer literate (MS Office & Systems)
