👨🏻‍💼 Position: Senior Officer: Warehouse

Location: Erongo, Namibia
Reference No:– 610
Salary: As Per Market Related

🎓 Responsibilities:

Perform duties to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse, through planning and adequate manning on a day to day basis.
Co-ordinate and oversee end user logistics, planning and warehouse service level delivery.
Coordinate forklift and pallet jack operations, counting, weighing and identifying of goods and supplies meant for distribution.
Maintain an accurate amount of inventory in the stores.
Assist in determining the required stock levels.
Schedule and implement cycle counting in accordance with the prescribed policy.
Maintain information on open orders with suppliers and Company departments.
Update and modify the warehouse catalogue to reflect current descriptions, specifications and prices.
Communicate warehouse activities with other departments, in order to address and understand customer needs and to maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction.

🎓 Job Requirements:

B- Tech / Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain management or related field
5 Years’ general materials, warehouse management and inventory management experience of which 2 years should have been on supervisory level.
Relevant Exposure in the Mining Industry would be an added advantage.
Sound knowledge of inventory control and materials management.
Receiving, issuing and binning process knowledge.
Dangerous goods knowledge.
Material requirement process (MRP) knowledge.
Valid Code B/BE Driver’s License.
