🎓 Responsibilities:

• Ensure the control of receipt, storage and issuing of stock items / consignment stock within the warehouse at Swakop Uranium (SU).
• Monitor incoming and outgoing stock for obvious faults or defects and report these to Line.
• Ensure that all warehouse activities and processes are in line with applicable and/or legally required policies and procedures in area of responsibility.
• Assist in identifying and handling of obsolete stock.
• Execute cycle counting in accordance with the prescribed policy.
• Maintain records of goods (materials, items, equipment) and attend to stock queries.
• Interact with end users to ensure quality inspection of new stock items.
• Check packing of all goods from suppliers to confirm and communicate with the logistics section.
• Correspond with procurement section for over and under supply.
• Communicate warehouse activities with other departments, in order to address and understand customer needs and to maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction.
• Provide an efficient and effective service to customers, by controlling the distribution of goods (items, materials, equipment) including the processing of requisitions.
• Dispatch stock onto the floor and ensure efficient and accurate delivery of stock to customer.

🎓 Job Requirements:

• Grade 12 or current NSSCO with 20 points over 5 subjects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain / Materials Management or related field.
• 3 years’ materials management experience.
• Experience in dealing with Suppliers, Buyers and End Users.
• Valid Code B/BE Driver’s License.
