šØš»āš¼ VACANCY: Analyst Innovation and Process Automation

š Responsibilities:
- Striving for Zero Harm by complying to RUL HSE policies, procedures and standards and have completed all of the necessary compliance training while utilising the appropriate HSE tools.
- Consulting with operations, business, management staff and system vendors to determine existing and future solutions aligning to the overall IT Strategy.
- Analysing process flow, evaluate opportunity to automate manual process and implement automation for process optimisation in line with company strategic objective.
- Designs and supports interfaces between business systems (e.g., SAP, Data Lake) and automation systems (e.g., MES, historian platforms, AI-driven tools).
- Supporting the drive for the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, AI, and machine learning, to modernize processes and systems.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to collect and document various business needs and transform them into detailed technical requirements.
- Creating, maintain and update system documentation including procedures, change logs, process flow diagrams and troubleshooting guides.
- Providing input into related operational and capital expenditures including the creation of Capital appropriation requests (CARās) and Capital Expenditure approval (CEAās), review costs and follow up on any variances / overspending.
š Job Requirements:
- Bachelorās degree (NQF L7) in computer science/information systems/ Informatic or Equivalent Degree, A minimum of five (5) yearsā experience in Process Automations (e.g., SCADA, AgilePoint, DCS, MES) at a large organisation.
OR
- 3 Years National Diploma (NQF L6) in Computer Science/Information Systems/ Informatic or Equivalent Diploma, Minimum of Seven (7) yearsā experience in Process Automations (e.g., SCADA, AgilePoint, DCS, MES) at a large organisation.
- A valid Code B Driverās License
- A Police certificate of conduct not older than six months is required. A record will not automatically disqualify candidates.
